Read our top tips on how to apply lipstick

• Use a lip brush if you want to have that airbrushed Hollywood look
• Choose a lip brush with soft fibres so that the pigment is applied evenly on your lipsticks
• Use lip pencil to add definition to your lips
• If applying lipstick straight from the tube, always start applying on your top lip then finish with your bottom lip
• Exfoliate your lips with an old brush to make your lips soft – use a lip scrub for example

The rise of small cat eye sunglasses in 2018

Sometimes, I feel like there are certain trends that are forced down consumers’ throats. Small cat eye sunglasses are one of them however I do love these particular sunglasses. I think small cat eye sunglasses look better when the colours are pastel and I think they look softer when they are paired with retro clothing (think long skirts, fitted cardigans and skirts that go over your knees). I think if you stay in the ultra-retro theme, small cat eye sunglasses can add some sugar to update your wardrobe.

I feel like Tom Ford is like an evil genius marketer sitting in a grand flat in London and New York signing off on the prices of his products. Because every time I think he will not surprise me with his pricing strategies, he literally knocks my socks off and this is exactly how I feel about the Illuminating Primer.

Primers are important because they help to improve the texture of your skin. You don’t want to look like a bumpy Rumpelstiltskin and this is what primers solve. They also make your make up last for longer. However, let’s not get too carried away with Tom Ford’s primer just yet.
