Paris Couture Week has just wrapped up and there have been new high jewellery releases that were showcased in Paris. Here are some of my favourites. 

Bulgari

This collection is called Eclettica and I found these photos at L’Officiel Philippines. What I like the most about this collection is how intricate all of the jewellery looks. A truly stunning selection of pieces for the high jewellery collector looking for something new. 

Hermes

This collection is called Into the Horsescape and it features 90 pieces designed by Pierre Hardy. This collection looks promising and it’s interesting to see Hermes step into new categories like high jewellery. 

There are a lot of beautiful new high jewellery releases but these are just a selection of a few pieces that I thought looked interesting from Bulgari and Hermes. Which ones do you like the most?

How to store jewellery

I am really excited to say I have launched a line of jewellery storage pieces such as beaded boxes and wood jewellery boxes. Initially this launch was done on my YouTube channel but I wanted to do a wider launch so I am also announcing on here. You can get the jewellery boxes on my website here and there are options from the beaded options to wood jewellery boxes made from teak wood. My first idea was to create a wooden box for jewellery because I have always loved how wood looks. I grew up watching my mother collect unique wooden jewellery trunks which also inspired this launch.  

Saks Fifth Avenue, the iconic American department store based in New York City, New York, USA has launched a brand new high jewellery collection. When I saw these pictures, I just knew I had to share them with you. These pieces are all POA – that means price on application so you should contact Saks directly. Normally this means they will be in the six figure and seven figure range. They are all natural mined diamonds not lab grown so the price tag is going to match the beauty of natural stones.

Which ones do you like the most?

(Full disclosure: my cousin’s jewellery company loaned me the jewels to try on but this is not sponsored or gifted as I just tried them on for 2 hours then returned them and I was not paid to mention them at all).

I got to try on a lot of Tanzanite and Zambian emeralds recently and I wanted to share the experience. My engagement ring is Tanzanite so I am familiar with the stone and I wanted to share how it compared to Zambian emeralds.
