Chanel restricts the future sales of the Coco Handle & Classic Flap – VIPs not affected

Chanel have decided to restrict the sales of 2 of their classic bags, the Classic Flap and the Coco Handle. This means you can only buy 1 CF or 1 CCH per year per country. Chanel know purchase history as well. This is going to put a lot of pressure on their seasonal bags like the Trendy CC, the Deauville and the Mini with the top handle.

I think the Mini with the top handle is going to be the new ”unicorn” at the brand in light of these new restrictions. I also think eventually this bag will be put under restrictions as more people will come and buy it.

I also believe this means the Mini with the top handle will probably see another price increase in early 2022 as Chanel knows people will turn to this bag.

I also believe this means that the new Coco Handle designs will become highly coveted and I also think the Coco Handle won’t be a massive priority since they won’t be making as many of them. They will be making this bag as exclusive as possible.

SLGs are affected but I don’t have more info for right now. Fine jewellery is said to be affected though to me I feel like this is a red herring since this is a category that is important to Chanel.

Ready to wear is not affected – you can buy as much as you want. I don’t think VIPs or VVIPs will be affected by these restrictions unless they are resellers.

These are some of the nice options from Chanel 22S. I think this perfume minaudiere will probably cost a fortune. I am genuinely curious about these perfume evening bags as they feel kind of lazy to me LOL but people seem to love them. I think the Chanel heart bag will be a huge hit and I am sure people are already reserving them.

Chanel Price Increase 2021 – October 2021 Update *The Chanel Price Increase Is Here*

There are rumours that Chanel plans to increase the price of the Trendy CC and the Deauville. I saw this information on an IG account called lvcclux. This increase is supposed to happen in time for the Cruise ’22 collection launch.

What is going up in price?

• The Trendy CC is going UP – The current GBP price is £4,220
• The Deauville is going UP – The current USD price is $3,500 and the GBP price is £2,840
• Shoes
• Some Small leather goods

What does this Chanel Price Increase 2021 mean for October/November?

This price increase is ahead of the Cruise collection which is coming out in November in boutiques. I think Chanel are increasing prices every now and then with different products but you can always count on a price increase for different products every single collection. In 21K, the Coco Handles went up and now in 22C, the Trendy and Deauville will be going up.

This bag retails for around $5,200 USD. I think it will still hang around for a few more months until when luxury stores are allowed to reopen in the West. It should be available at flagship Chanel boutiques worldwide.
