Jewellery Storage Tips ~ Jewellery Boxes & Wood Jewellery Boxes

How to store jewellery

I am really excited to say I have launched a line of jewellery storage pieces such as beaded boxes and wood jewellery boxes. Initially this launch was done on my YouTube channel but I wanted to do a wider launch so I am also announcing on here. You can get the jewellery boxes on my website here and there are options from the beaded options to wood jewellery boxes made from teak wood. My first idea was to create a wooden box for jewellery because I have always loved how wood looks. I grew up watching my mother collect unique wooden jewellery trunks which also inspired this launch.

Today I wanted to share some tips of how to store jewellery accurately. Now you could say I am biased but the first thing you need to do is pick the right jewellery box for you. We created two options: wood and beads. The wood option I think is luxurious and premium. It feels like an experience when you are opening up the box to look for jewellery. The beaded option is more lightweight and it is easier to manage if you want something that is easier to reach for to put jewellery pieces in.

I have both options at home. I have the wood jewellery box and the beaded box. I like to put more complex jewellery pieces in the wood jewellery box while I like to use the beaded boxes for smaller items. For example, the wood jewellery box would suit using it for Van Cleef & Arpel motif necklaces from the Alhambra line while the beaded box could be used to wedding bands and gold rings. I have begun using my wood jewellery box for my Cartier ring as well. If you have smaller rings like the Cartier Love ring (which is the one I have), you could use the beaded box for this.

The wood jewellery box can also be used for bracelets, bangles, arm cuffs and chunky bangles. I absolutely love chunky bangles and cuffs. There is enough space in the wood jewellery box for multiple types of bracelets, cuffs and bangles.

The beaded box can be used for small earring such as diamond studs or ear cuffs, and smaller rings. I think the beaded box is useful because you can use it for more casual pieces when you want to keep your jewellery close but easy to reach for and put on.
