Louis Vuitton Place Vendôme Store Report

My experience shopping at Louis Vuitton Place Vendôme was the same day that I went to the Champs Elysees boutique. I walked from the Champs Elysees location via Rue de la Boetie and ended up to the Place Vendôme boutique. This boutique also has a Maison title like the Champs Elysees boutique. It is where the high jewellery is sold and there is a lot of fine jewellery on offer as well.

I arrived and decided to queue up for a bit but the queue was much smaller than Champs. While yes you can make an appointment, I do like to go cold to boutiques in order to report back and share how a standard customer would be treated who is not making an appointment. There was a VIP couple who stood at the front and were ushered in ahead of those of us queuing. When it was my turn, a greeter asked what I was looking for and I said I wanted to buy something. I was told a CA would be with me in about 15 minutes. I used this time to look around the ground floor which is where the exotics, RTW, jewellery and canvas items are (men’s is upstairs). This boutique is very well stocked across those categories from what I could see.

I got to see the Men’s Exotics as well which look really good (the soft trunk in Ostrich is 8,000 euros) and they definitely have the price tag to match. The CA was pleasant – I was clear with her I would buy something and I did (it will be up on my YouTube channel soon) but I do think this is a boutique that does a lot of volume so I don’t think it would be comfortable if you are just browsing, it’s definitely for people who are looking to buy the same day as they are in the store. I was impressed with the exotic selection here including a pink ostrich Capucines that looked amazing.

I would come here again if I was looking to get more items same day. I think LV are trying a unique strategy by having a greeter at the door who asks you what you are looking for so they can know who is browsing and who is not. The service at this boutique was good and I would come again with my husband as well as I think he would have liked the service (I shopped alone these times).
