Saks Fifth Avenue, the iconic American department store based in New York City, New York, USA has launched a brand new high jewellery collection. When I saw these pictures, I just knew I had to share them with you. These pieces are all POA – that means price on application so you should contact Saks directly. Normally this means they will be in the six figure and seven figure range. They are all natural mined diamonds not lab grown so the price tag is going to match the beauty of natural stones.
(Full disclosure: my cousin’s jewellery company loaned me the jewels to try on but this is not sponsored or gifted as I just tried them on for 2 hours then returned them and I was not paid to mention them at all).
I got to try on a lot of Tanzanite and Zambian emeralds recently and I wanted to share the experience. My engagement ring is Tanzanite so I am familiar with the stone and I wanted to share how it compared to Zambian emeralds. The company I tried the jewellery on from is called Lavingia Jewels and you can find them on Instagram. All pictures are my own.
Tanzanite Pros & Cons
PROS
*Beautiful – The different tones of Tanzanite are stunning to look at
*Durable – I don’t know why people say Tanzanite is fragile, mine has been through it and still looks brand new
CONS
*Hard to find – Top quality stones can be hard to find
The information about the VCA price increase is not as much as Cartier but this is what I know so far. VCA are planning a price increase which is said to happen around 11 May 2022.
This will be a worldwide increase that should affect every market that VCA is in. If you are planning on making any purchases, you should start planning for now so that you can go ahead and purchase it.
Hi Glamazons – I just shot a video for my YouTube channel about some research I did about how Cartier treats its’ best clients. The top 1% of its’ client base. I did some research on message boards and found some concerns from some people. Check out my video below and keep reading for more tidbits on how Cartier treats its’ best clients.
What perks do Cartier customers get?
Some of the top perks the best Cartier customers get according to an old thread in the Purse Form include:
SAs sending flowers to their best customer
Birthday cakes being sent to you
A glass of champagne while you are shopping
Perfume samples or a small gift
Obviously as I note in my video, this is an art not a science. Some customers have complained they have spent a lot of money on jewellery and never even gotten champagne. Others have said they were upset that they did not receive gifts but others have received plenty of perks.
Honestly a lot of this depends on how often you buy their jewellery. I have seen some people on groups and boards tell SAs that they want champagne when they walk in the boutique. I am not sure that is the right way of going about things. It comes off a bit desperate or am I wrong?
What do you think of these Cartier perks for their best customers? Do you expect top notch service even if you are just window shopping?
