I love the classic look of this bag yet it has a twist because it sits on your waist. This bag looks like it suits Gen Z shoppers more as well as it is more youthful.

2 — Chanel Small Flap Bag

This bag looks ideal for women who work in corporate settings or business women in generation. I love how polished and corporate it looks. This is the closest Chanel bag I have ever seen to looking like a ‘work bag’. I love this for women who are in business or executive positions.

Price – $4,500, circa £3,500

3 — Chanel Small Boy Bag

This option is so gorgeous OMG I cannot even handle it. The hardware is gold and the colour looks rich and textured. This bag is really small though to be fair so if you want a Chanel bag that fits a lot of stuff inside, this probably is not the bag for you. I like how compact it looks though.

It does look extremely difficult to keep clean but I do love the sharpness of white handbags.

My take – I love this white Chanel handbag if you are a fashionista and if you have white outfits or if you like monochrome. I see this handbag working for women who are minimalists and maximalists but it requires a specific type of taste in order to make it work to avoid it looking too ‘bare’.

As we know, Chanel is notorious for their insane price increases so make a decision on whether you are  going to buy one and take advantage of the current price or if you don’t think it is for you. Personally a Chanel Boy bag is on my list for 2019 but it is what I called a ‘determined purchase’ meaning it is one that I need to use all of the time – it’s not a bag to buy just to have it look cute without making good use of it.
